Thanks for the reply, Lee. I enjoyed reading both your article and some of Dr. Aron’s work. Was the inner dialogue of the “Feeler” your creative work? I also enjoyed reading about Mirror Neurons.
Hello Lee, I am curious how you came to the inner dialog for each of these “vibe” types? Did you interview people who fit the bill? I think you nailed it. I’ll add that I have seen a little of myself in each of the last two. Maybe we all have a little bit of many vibe types? I have social anxiety, which tends to have me A. overly sensitive to the emotions in the room, and B. I may tend to “perform” or not entirely be myself. Like the Feeler type - either way, it’s exhausting. My favorite part of going out is coming home. LOL.
Hi! Thanks for asking about this. The Feeler vibe is partly based on the work of Dr. Elaine Aron, who recognized and defined the “The Highly Sensitive Person” and sensory processing sensitivity. She written a number of books about it.
